Based in Melbourne, Victoria Australia, we aim to support your aviation journey.
We support the purchase, import and delivery of your kit aeroplane, and can guide you with detailed information on performance, engine and construction choices.
Swish Projects is your one-stop-shop for all of the Zenith Aircraft, Aero Adventures (amphibious), Velocity Aircraft and Badlands Ultralight aircraft kits. Enjoy the security of knowing that you will be well cared for when you purchase both your aircraft kit AND your Viking Aircraft Engine through the same person – and enjoy the package deals too!
Full builder-assistance packages are available – your place or mine! Get as much or as little help as you feel you need completing your aircraft or installing your engine. In partnership with TVSA at the Bacchus Marsh Airfield, we can help with your instruction and support your access to obtaining your pilot license and complete any test flying or conversion training that you feel you need. The professionals at TVSA understand Experimental Aviation and are happy to provide you training in your own aircraft. Avionics packages can be prepared to suit your needs and budget – from basic instruments through to full IFR panels, with many pre-made wiring looms and all of the hardware that you need. Even painting and decorating can all be quoted for your approval.
Support can be as much or as little as you request.
Swish Projects Director, James Fisher, has over 25 years’ experience in of aviation. “I have just finished the test flying phase of my Zenith CH750 STOL – and of course this flys behind the reliable power of a Viking 130 HP equipped with the VIP, and work has started on our new Viking 130-powered Aventura II sea plane. And as soon as it is finished, I will start on the next project -the incredible Velocity SE speed-machine that will be pushed along by the Viking 195HP Turbo.
Am I ‘builder’ or am I a ‘pilot’? I don’t know. A bit of column A, a bit of column B 😊. Building is a great activity all of its own.
I have spent time under paragliders and parachutes, paramotors, 2-stoke trikes and 2-seater turbines – but you can’t beat the freedom of your own machine. Your Viking-powered aircraft be fuelled from the local service station, the annual inspection will take about an hour and service costs are less than $50. “My Viking engines are reliable, powerful, smooth, quiet, efficient, easy to inspect, easy to operate and easy to maintain. Everything else just feels busted and old.”
